Pulling rods and tubes in the Farbglashuette has a long tradition, and today, the rods and tubes are still pulled entirely by hand. What always amazes our guests, has a practical basis: through the hand manufacture process it is possible to melt practically every color and special color pattern and then also can be pulled. In this way, we can recreate historical patterns properly, and also create smaller special batches that can be delivered in a shorter time. Altogether, we make Rods and Tubes in approximately 220 different colors and patterns.

The rods and tubes of the Farbglashuette will be worked by glassblowers in front of the torch, and made into animals, Christmas ornaments, and other works of art. Also, artificial human, animal and doll eyes are made from our glass. Our neon tubing is used in the production of neon signs.
