Our furnace contains 60 tons of glass. The process is continuous: batch is charged in one end and glass is pulled out at the other end, than pressed into 2x2cm pillows and conveyed into steel containers. Every day we have analysis carried out, so that the exact content can be stated to the customer. The furnace is a modern low energy, cost recuperative unit. The exhausts from the furnace are cleaned through a modern state of the art electro filter and no damaging fumes or particles are released into the environment. K-glass is produced every second year in this furnace.
