By car: We recommend that our English speaking guests use a Navigation device to drive in Germany. Lauscha should be correctly spelled, and correlated with the postal code, 98724. It's a lovely drive to our "Glass Hut" - it's just that directional signs are differently organised in Germany, than in North America. From Erfurt: (Autobahn) A71 to Ilmenau-Ost, continue along to Gehren, through Großbreitenbach, through Katzhuette in the direction of Neuhaus am Rennweg to Lauscha. From Schweinfurt: (Autobahn) A71 to Autobahndreieck (Junction) Suhl, then take the A73 to the exit Eisfeld-Nord in the direction of Neuhaus am Rennweg, then exit onto the B 281 to Steinheid, Steinheid to Neuhaus am Rennweg, through Neuhaus to Lauscha. Coming from Coburg: Motorway A 73 to Eisfeld and B 281 to Neuhaus am Rennweg to Lauscha or ST 2002 from Roedental, Sonneberg, Steinach to Lauscha From Leipzig: A 9 to Triptis junction, continue on B 281 on Saalfeld, light, Piesau, through Ernstthal down the hill to Lauscha By train: The Südthüringenbahn stops directly at Lauschaer station. Walk toward the Station building, cross the road, and continue in the same direction approximately 5-10 minutes along the main street, up the gentle slope... and there we are!
